Today I cooked and canned a quadruple batch of pea soup.

First I started with four pounds of whole peas:
Soaked:
Next for some ham:
Diced:
And some carrots:
Chopped:
Add some onion:
And some garlic:
All go in with the cooked peas:
First layer of jars into the pressure canner:
Second layer:
Sixteen* pints of homemade soup!
